Meet Our Chiropractors
Dr. Evan Philip ‘Chip’ Mladenoff
Dr. Chip has spent most of his life involved in athletics; this, combined with his interest in high level human performance and recovery are the driving forces that lead him to become a chiropractor.
Chip received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science degree from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut where he was recruited to play Division I Men’s Hockey. Hockey was a top priority, but Chip remained a well-rounded student by staying involved in all aspects of athletics, school & community. Throughout undergrad Chip participated in, and held several vital leadership roles in, the Student Athletic Advisory Council (SAAC). His senior year he was elected President of the SAAC and Assistant Captain of the Men’s hockey team. His leadership contributed to the SAAC receiving the National Award of Excellence and the North East Conference Building Communities Award in 2010. Several other noteworthy awards Chip has received include: Sacred Heart University Athletic Leader of the Year, Sacred Heart University Coca-Cola Community All-American Award, & Sacred Heart University Alumni Recognition Award.
During his playing career, Chip sustained several injuries including multiple concussions. Dr Chip attributes chiropractic and the correct alternative treatments to be what helped him recover and allowed him to stay healthy enough to play in spite of these injuries. During his collegiate career, of 147 games, Chip only missed 3 due to injury.
Chip graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. While in graduate school, Chip was the President of the Applied Kinesiology Club and he also became a certified practitioner in Applied Kinesiology and Acupuncture; Both of which are modalities he utilizes extensively. In his graduating class, Dr. Chip was one of three interns to be awarded the Clinic Service Award and was the single recipient of the prestigious Clinical Excellence Award.
Dr. Chip is currently pursuing Functional Neurology and is specializing in Neurofeedback brain based treatment. He is a member of the International College of Applied Kinesiology and was a member of the International Academy of Functional Neurology & Rehabilitation from 2016-2019. He is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician.
Dr. Chip has worked with a diverse population of athletes from flag football players to professional athletes. In March of 2016 he was chosen to be part of the Chiropractic team helping athletes at the IAAF Indoor World Track and Field Championships in Portland, OR.
When Dr. Chip is not at the clinic, he is spending time with his wife Christina, kids (Evan and Stevie) and their dogs. They can be seen attending church, or enjoying improving his marksmanship at the range. He continues his education of brain therapy and the functional movement of the body.
